Small Hours, Long Days: clothes

I hate the snow. I honestly do. Nothing is worse than the ice and snow and wind all working together to make this place the frozen hell it becomes. I can't even walk across a parking lot by myself. Its quite pathetic. I slip and fall all the time and give myself bruises or ice burns. Its awful. The cold and wind also make my eyes water. So I constantly look like an emotionally unbalanced psycho. I've had teachers ask me what's wrong, who broke my heart, etc. Then I have to explain that my body rejects the cold or something. I also can no longer wear heels. I adore heels. I'm taking this rather hard this year. I can't wear falsies because my eyes water and make them come off. I can't wear skirts above my ankle or I freeze to death. Even when I do wear long skirts many times I will wear layers of leggings or yoga pants underneath.
There are no redeemable qualities about this place in the winter time. Which is 10 months of the year.
Just read Dante's Infereno. The last level of hell where Satan resides describes the climate of this place beautifully.

Halloweeeeeeenie

This morning Kenz and I woke up and made pancakes with pineapple! I bought a pineapple this week with the intent of learning how to cut it. I did! It was super fun. Kenz twisted the top of for me. Action shots!

Okay now we are getting ready for the halloween dance(: My costume is super last minute. I am either a "real housewife of Idaho" or a housewife gone wild or the morning after. Whatever. Its super comfy. I wanted to be Beyonce from her new music video where she wears a pink button up shirt. Shes so cute. But it got lost in translation.

Civilization Weekend

So I am visiting my cousin. I got in late last night. We shopped alllllllllll day today. It was good. I have no money in my account any more. We went to the famed Park City outlets. It was amazing.

We went to the Croc store. I know its a weird concept that they have a whole store dedicated to the nasty fiends. Here is a part of the rainbow croc wall. [ew]

I finally got a pair of high-top colorful skater-ish shoes!!
Goal fulfilled

My aunt loves me. She sent up homemade caramel corn.

We got fro yo tonight for only 72 cents! Haha win. (Totally off topic but I miss the cents symbol. It was always my favorite.) I have to leave early(ish) tomorrow so I can be home for church.

Today We Lived

Today we went to civilization. We got Starbucks! Our itty bitty town doesn't have Starbucks)': so we had to drive 30 minutes to the nearest form of civilization to get some. They didn't have their holiday cups there yet. Sad.
We spent the whole day wandering around their small mall. Strangely enough I bought more things at the small, mediocre mall than I did last week at the fabulous mall. I don't get it. A kid in my class was talking about an article he read that said people with more options are less satisfied than people with less options. Maybe that's it...
Afterward we went to Olive Garden. Yay for breadsticks.

Belated

This is a belated post. I had to wait to steal the photos off of my friend's camera. So! Here they are. We took a trip to Hollywood one day. Just for kicks. Jtween and D.F. were my companions for the day. i ended up spending most of my time in Zaras. I got a cute maxi skirt and a dress that I wore to church today. That's off topic. Anyway.
