I'm feeling kind of lazy. But I want to update. So... I'm using Instagram pictures only haha.

I am now an art history major! It is the best (academic) decision I've made in awhile. I love it so much. Notice that I have 4 Medieval art textbooks. It just happens to be my favorite class. I seriously love it. I don't care how strange that sounds.

I went to devotional this week with Grant and one of his rommates. I never go so I took a really creepy picture. I tried to get a picture of the sign language translator but he was too far away and it would have been an obvious picture. So no picture of him.

I went to Grant's house to pick him up and there were no parking spots so I parked in a no parking zone for literally 2 minutes and got booted. I was annoyed to say the least. It was kind of funny though. Never been booted before.

Then Grant and I made cupcakes! They are supposed to be chocolate cupcakes with caramel filling and whipped ganache frosting. However, we didn't have a candy thermometer so the caramel was too thin and we didn't chill the ganache long enough. They still taste ok. I had... 3... today. I haven't eaten much else haha.

Jenna and I went to the candy store today! It looks so cute on the outside so we went in to try their candy. Honestly, the candy and chocolate were disappointing. The shop was so cute on the inside. Jenna got a picture of it. It has castles cute painted walls. Then we went to Taco Bell. That's where we ate the chocolate. We be classy.

Happy Birthday,Kenz!

Kenz and her boy. Kenz went over to Jacob's house for dinner then came back home for cake and presents. Her family sent her a package of gifts.

We made her a four layer cake that alternated between white and red velvet with cream cheese frosting and raspberry jam in the layers. Rach was the official photographer of the evening. She was very serious about her work.

Sammy's Famous Pie Shakes

So Sammy's is the place to go. Especially if nothing else is going on. We went there last night to get a shake. We got a massive chocolate oreo pie shake. The girl recommended it over the normal oreo shake. It was soooooo not good. We couldn't eat any of it. It was a bummer. Sammy's was fun. We saw a bunch of people we knew and watched a couple have a fight. Ya know. Good times.

So I need to write a single spaced paper, 10 pages max, by Monday. It's on the culture of my school. any topic but it has to discuss my culture here. I had so many good ideas this whole semester. Now that I actually need to write it though, I am drawing a complete blank. I have counted so many people's calories, contacted the Crossroads for nutritional information (which they don't provide yet), and obsessed over nutrition here for weeks. I still don't know what to say about it. Its starting to make me panic. This is my final! I have to have something meaningful to say about health and nutrition here at BYU I! There must be something I can relate to the one thing I obsess about more than anything else: nutrition. It took me so long to get all of this information for nothing.
I also need to write a sonnet... in Spanish... I tried so hard earlier this week. I got 5 lines with the correct amount of syllabus. Then I remembered it needed to rhyme. Poetry isn't my forte in English, and there really is no change in Spanish. So I have nothing now. I am terribly at rhyming. Can't I just make it alliterate? I can do that. Easy. Spanish rhyming is difficult for me to get too. Oh this is a problem.
On the positive side we got frozen custard from Nielson's yesterday.We semi-crashed a ward party haha.

It is so gooood.

3 Weeks Till Christmas Break

So my parents decided to fly me down for Thanksgiving. I got to see all the kids. They are all getting so tall. For Thanksgiving we had a bunch of family over. I made homemade cranberry sauce which I only got a little of because I was at the kid table. Kid table = lame. Anyway. I don't know why I got stuck there.
I went to In-n-Out while I was there. I even had a hamburger. I know so many calories. But I did it anyway.

Of course I had to go shopping at a good mall while I was home. I bought so many things and now have a list of things I want still. It felt amazing. I even went to Zara<3 Day complete. I did not compete in Black Friday though.

On Thanksgiving day, my brother, dad, aunt, uncle, and I all went to visit family members' graves. I'm named after my great-grandma, so its always kind of weird to see my name on a headstone...

My little sister had me put make up on her one day. Usually I have softer,easy to remove make up for her. I forgot it of course. So we used mine.

On Friday I went on a bike ride with my friend. We went all throughout the Central Park in my area and looked at all the ducks. It was super fun!

Saturday night I hung out with Dane. It was the last time I will see him for two years. He's been called to serve a mission in Colombia. We had a super fun night. I'm going to miss him. A lot.

The night I had to leave we went out for sushi. I miss fish and sushi so much. I ate wayyy too much though. My brother and his friend.

It was my 9 year old brother's first time. He didn't like it... haha

And now I am home. Back in the frozen wasteland. Its very cold here. Not snowing. Yet. My apartment is freezing though! I feel like the cut off the heating for the break. Rude.

Staycation

This weekend Kenz decided we needed a staycation. Or any kind of leaving this itty bitty town. So we got a hotel in the nearest location of civilization. It was actually really fun. We got to use their jacuzzi and sauna. Which meant I got to wear my new swimsuit. Today we went shopping and last night we went to Olive Garden. The only bummer of this weekend is that it has finally begun snowing. Its so terrible. I am now learning how to drive in snow. When we first went out this morning, my car door was frozen shut and there was ice all over the windows and mirrors. I had to actually scrap it off with my ice scraper thing.

We waited at Olive Garden forever. There were so many people there. We got a free breadstick while we waited. That was pretty cool. We've never had that happen before.

While we were in civilization, we got Starbucks! They have their holiday cups! We were so excited. It was the perfect thing to drink while the wind blew the snow all over.

Now we are going to watch the Twilight movies #2 and #3. Preparing for the next one(: Hahah lame. We know. Also Immortals is coming out soon. I AM SO EXCITED.

I Creep on Krin

I helped Krin do laundry. I didn't really. But I took really creepy pictures of him doing his laundry.

Kenz, KD, and KD's friend and I went ans saw Footloose! It was so good. So many references to the original.

Krin and I went and saw Paranormal Activity 3. I'm creeping on him during dinner. As usual. Paranormal Activity 3 scared me so badly. I kept screaming at Krin in the car because I heard weird noises. SCCAARRYY.

One night at around 1 am we got really hungry. I mean reallyyy hungry. We live in a small town and a realigious small town at that. So it being Sunday night every single place was closed. Even Jack in the Box. Jack in the Crack. Whatever. I'm still bitter about it. The only thing open was the Mavericks. So we got this massive thing of nachos and Krin ate it all. (: Yes. You did. Did. Okay I ate a little. I also had carrots and orange juice.

I want to make crepes today because earlier this week I saw this idea on Pinterest where they use pumpkin pie as a crepe filling. I made a pumpkin pie with no crust for this purpose. I also spilled it all over the oven.

Today we are helping Adam. He just got his wisdom teeth out. He asked that the after pictures not appear online until he is sane again. So here is the before shot. He's sleeping on my couch right now.
