Its finally snowing. There is a layer on the ground. Its been so nice for so long. Now it must end. I've been working on school lately. Trying to be an Art History major and all that jazz. I still feel conflicted about it.
I'm going to learn how to drive in the snow tonight since I keep almost killing myself.
Today Grant and I celebrated Chinese New Year with Chinese food! Woooo

Well. After 14 hours of driving we are back in the Burg. Still no snow. It's really weird. By this point last year the snow was so high. This year we don't even have a coating on the ground. Its super weird. I have kind of been having a really crappy few weeks. I thought going home would help. Then once I was home I thought coming back up here would help. It didn't. So. Now I am just debating not getting out of bed in the morning. hahaha but seriously.
My phone also does this thing where I can't talk to people on it. Its cool. i mean I only use that part of the phone more often than anything else. Oh well. I want a camera more than a phone right now.
My room is a mess. I just want to clean until I feel better. But I got 2 hours of sleep last night.

So this week has had a million birthdays. Jenna's was this week and KD's. Adam's was the day after. So many!
Adam also got his mission call yesterday. Talk about a sweet birthday present. He's going to Zimbabwe! How cool is that.
Jenna and I have been going on many late night adventures, one of them being a trip to Denny's. Which is honestly the only place open. Not even IHOP was open.
Campus is all decorated for Christmas! So we celebrated.
It is currently 10 degrees outside and lightly snowing. I want to die a little. Its dreadful.

So today started out as the climax of my absolutely horrid week. I kid you not. I am having an awful week. I went to bed at 10 last night and woke up every three hours. Every time I woke up I had a new symptom. WebMD said first I had a brain tumor, then simmered down to say I had strep. I recently came in contact with someone with strep... So I was utterly convinced I was dying of strep by the time I woke up again at 9. I felt sick and nasty and it was great. i went to the doctors. Got some medicine. And then promptly puked it out when I got home. Woooo. I felt so much better though ahha. Then I slept and watched some movie that was really confusing on Netflix.
Also. This week Kenz and I went down to civilization and I ordered the third book in the Abarat series!!!! I've been waiting years for it. I highly recommend it. Read it. Love it.
So I decided I was quite recovered after that and went to the most awful ward dance I have had the misfortune to attend in a very long time. It was terrible. But! my roommates had fun. I'm a total creep and I shall prove it to you:
Bam. Imma creep. End of story.
So that details the day I went from puking to dancing.

Its started snowing this week and I am officially learning how to drive in the snow. Kenz was kind enough to wipe my windshield for me (': (Best friend^^)

I hate the snow. I honestly do. Nothing is worse than the ice and snow and wind all working together to make this place the frozen hell it becomes. I can't even walk across a parking lot by myself. Its quite pathetic. I slip and fall all the time and give myself bruises or ice burns. Its awful. The cold and wind also make my eyes water. So I constantly look like an emotionally unbalanced psycho. I've had teachers ask me what's wrong, who broke my heart, etc. Then I have to explain that my body rejects the cold or something. I also can no longer wear heels. I adore heels. I'm taking this rather hard this year. I can't wear falsies because my eyes water and make them come off. I can't wear skirts above my ankle or I freeze to death. Even when I do wear long skirts many times I will wear layers of leggings or yoga pants underneath.
There are no redeemable qualities about this place in the winter time. Which is 10 months of the year.

This weekend Kenz decided we needed a staycation. Or any kind of leaving this itty bitty town. So we got a hotel in the nearest location of civilization. It was actually really fun. We got to use their jacuzzi and sauna. Which meant I got to wear my new swimsuit. Today we went shopping and last night we went to Olive Garden. The only bummer of this weekend is that it has finally begun snowing. Its so terrible. I am now learning how to drive in snow. When we first went out this morning, my car door was frozen shut and there was ice all over the windows and mirrors. I had to actually scrap it off with my ice scraper thing.
We waited at Olive Garden forever. There were so many people there. We got a free breadstick while we waited. That was pretty cool. We've never had that happen before.

While we were in civilization, we got Starbucks! They have their holiday cups! We were so excited. It was the perfect thing to drink while the wind blew the snow all over.
Now we are going to watch the Twilight movies #2 and #3. Preparing for the next one(: Hahah lame. We know. Also Immortals is coming out soon. I AM SO EXCITED.
